Arusha National Park is the smallest national park in Tanzania. The park, located in the northeast, was established in 1960 as “Ngurdoto Crater National Park”. It is located 30 km north of the city of Arusha and offers a good view of the neighbouring Kilimanjaro. We were only able to visit the park for a short time, as we only had a stopover in Arusha on the way to Tarangire National Park.
