Barely two weeks after the release of firmware 1.3.0 for the Canon EOS R5, which brought extensive feature enhancements especially in the video area, another new firmware version is already available, which only contains an error correction: When filming with the Canon Log 3 codec, the LCD or the electronic viewfinder can show an image that appears too bright when View Assist mode is selected. The new firmware can be downloaded directly from Canon here.
