Canon has released the new firmware version 1.3.2 for the EOS R5 Mark II. The update focuses primarily on bug fixes and improved stability.
Among the most important changes are reduced latency in the Live View display when using the EOS Multi Remote app, as well as a fix for an issue with linked shooting when the sender camera is connected to an FTP server at the same time.
Canon has also fixed an issue that could cause the camera to restart during shooting when Dual Pixel RAW was enabled. In addition, overall operational stability has been improved.

Firmware Version 1.3.2 incorporates the following enhancements and fixes:
- Improves a delay that may occur in the live view display when shooting with the EOS Multi Remote app.
- Fixes an issue that may cause the receiver camera to fail to capture images during linked shooting with EOS Multi Remote when the sender camera is connected to an FTP server.
- Fixes an issue that may cause the camera to restart during shooting when Dual Pixel RAW is enabled.
- Improves operational stability.

After extracting the downloaded file, the firmware file R5213200.FIR can be found in the download folder. Canon recommends reading the included firmware update instructions before starting the installation.
