In August 2017 we spent another 14 days in southern Kenya. We visited the Amboseli National Park, the lakes Nakuru, Naivasha and Bogoria and this time we stayed a whole week in the Masai Mara.
Amboseli National Park is famous for its large elephant groups and the best view of the Kilimanjaro. Unfortunately we were not lucky with the weather - the Klilimanjaro was only very poorly visible.
We were able to observe a group of 5 cheetahs hunting for wildebeest in the Masai Mara. Once unsuccessfully, once not very healthy for a young wildebeest.
