Venice

Since our first vis­it in 2000, Venice, the Serenis­si­ma, and the sur­round­ing lagoon enchant­ed us. From then on, we have been there almost every year once or twice. We love to roam around the time­less beau­ti­ful city and get lost in the nar­row streets - although we find it increas­ing­ly dif­fi­cult to do so after so many vis­its. The city seems to be fall­en out of time and we enjoy the decel­er­a­tion when we stroll through it. The city is espe­cial­ly mag­i­cal when you walk through it in the ear­ly morn­ing hours before sun­rise and you have the famous places almost for your­self.
