Amboseli National Park is located in southern Kenya directly at the border to Tanzania. It is well known for its large elephant herds. From the park, which is about 1,200 m above sea level, you have a direct view of Africa’s highest mountain, the Kibo in the Kilimanjaro massif (5,895 m).
