We have been to Amboseli National Park, which is especially known for its large elephant population, twice before. This was our second stop this time. The park is close to Mt. Kilimanjaro, with 5895m height Africa’s highest mountain. However, during our previous visits in July / August, the mountain was constantly hiding behind clouds. This time in winter we hoped for better visibility to finally be able to photograph “elephants in front of Kilimanjaro”. We were not disappointed…
